Language Combinations and Procedure

"Professional translators work into their native language," as can be read in A guide to buying translations, published by the ITI and the SFT, p. 16.

  • Into French and Breton:
    - translations: normally carried out by myself, with internal revising and proofreading by a third party depending on the required quality level;
    - revising, proofreading and consulting: dealt with in-house, additional proofreading by a third party depending on the required quality level.
  • Other Combinations: should you look for another provider?
    No. For, if the person you find is a professional, s/he would accept proofreading and collaboration.
    As a translator myself, I am able to look for skilful colleagues.
    - translation and revision: one operation is carried out in-house, the other one by a colleague;
    - revising, proofreading and consulting: you will be put directly in touch with the provider, if communication is possible, and, if not, I will act as an intermediary.
