My skills and my experience enable me to offer a consulting service that can focus on:
A Translation or Translation Policy
The goal will then be to help you prepare a text to be translated in one or several languages, decide what is really useful to translate, etc. We can also define together a translation policy that will apply to your whole organization and to several documents.
Not only can this service lower the cost of a given translation by diminishing the total volume to translate, but it can also be cheaper itself if it is associated to one or several translation orders (see Combined services), or even to a long-term collaboration.
Writing a Document
A text often has one or several precise goal(s) that you may not succeed in reaching: is it supposed to convince the reader, demonstrate a fact or analyse some data? Should it present or highlight a particular element in a broader context? The external point of view of writing professionals like translators may prove invaluable to improve the form of your document and allow it to achieve its purpose.

Presentation Standards for Written Documents
The presentation of some documents is fairly standardised. This is the case, for example, with university documents (theses, articles...) or with correspondence. Knowing the applicable conventions before writing a document, choosing a presentation system (of bibliographic references, for example), that will be used consistently throughout the writing process, will save much time when it is proofread/amended.
Once again, associating this consulting service with correction/proofreading will lower the cost, as well as any order for combined services.
